The real estate market on Cape Cod has really picked up steam in the last few weeks.  Newly listed properties are going under contract in a matter of days.  The buyers realize that now is the time to buy.  Prices are not going any lower and they are seeing that properties that look right and are priced right are moving quickly.  Now is the time to purchase your home on the Cape.  Maybe you would use it for a weekend getaway or for use during the summer.  Some buyers are using it as an investment and renting it out.

Citizens Bank just posted their rates for today.  They continue to be remain very low.

For example: 30 year fixed rate of 3.75% with a LTV of 90%.

  "         "        30 year fixed rate of 3.25% with a LTV of 97& for 1st time home buyers.

I am having an Open House on Saturday February 4th from 12-1 at 1 Oxford Street in Yarmouthport.  This is a 3 bedroom 2 bath Cape Style Home.  It is a clean home that needs a little updating.  The rooms are spacious and there is one bedroom on the first floor with the other two bedrooms being on the second floor.
